I have been a Brinks Home Security Customer for 10 years now. Previously I was with ADT alarm monitoring. I'm glad I made the switch. I must say, the response I get from them has always been great. Aside from the service, the cost of the monitoring is very reasonable and lowers my insurance payments as well. The website is a great tool. You can use it to let Brinks know when you are going to be out of town and when you will be returning. Very handy for the police to know as well, so that they can keep an eye on things. I've had a few false alarms and they just proved to me how quickly the police come when alerted by Brinks. My smoke alarm goes directly to the monitoring service so if at the start of any fire I would be covered and that makes me feel very safe. I am a single woman who lives alone and often have to come inside at night. I don't feel anything but protected because when I'm gone, I know that Brinks has been there watching over my home, and my belongings.

"As a member of the bipartisan 'Gang of 14,' I will follow our agreement that judicial nominees should be filibustered only under extraordinary circumstances. If a cloture vote is held on the nomination of Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court, I am prepared to vote for cloture and oppose a filibuster because, in my view, this nominee deserves an up or down vote in the Senate.
"However, I have heard concerns from Nebraskans regarding Ms. Kagan, and her lack of a judicial record makes it difficult for me to discount the concerns raised by Nebraskans, or to reach a level of comfort that these concerns are unfounded. Therefore,
