The only battery is in your remote key fab,the system uses the car battery for the rest of its power.the remote stater system probably has a failure internally, try changing the battery in your remote first, they do get weak enough to make the light come on but not transmit to starter/lock control box.the noise your hearing when you turn the key in door is the lock actuator it is not working properly and this to could make your remote system not work.if the remote system does not get a signal that doors are locked it might not let you use remote.the door lock actuator has a micro switch on it that tells the control box that is locked or unlocked.good luck honda tech 12yrs

While it's too early to tell if touch screen-based alarm clocks, armed with apps and widgets, will become what the world wakes up to, it's safe to say that the initial offerings haven't been all that impressive. Insignia's Infocast Internet Media Display ($169.99 direct) is the first of this new breed of product to excel in the most important area: user friendliness. The Sony Dash ($199.99 direct, ) and the Chumby One ($119.95, ) offer similar content, but do so in a far less graceful manner. If playing Pandora stations bedside while perusing Facebook apps is your thing, the Infocast is the best option for you. Of course, you could also just use a smartphone like the iPhone 4 ($199 direct, ) or an iPod touch ($199 direct, ) as your alarm clock and have access to far better apps, a full Web browser, and a lot morebut you won't get a big, 8-inch screen.
Design
The Insignia Infocast 8" Internet Media Display looks a lot like a digital photo frame , measuring 7.2 by 8.7 by 4.8 inches (HWD) with an 8-inch, 800-by-600-pixel touch-screen LCD. The top panel of the black frame houses a single Home button emblazoned with the Insignia logo, while behind the screen, two stereo speakers and a Power button are built into the base of the unit's stand. The base also houses two USB ports, a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack, and slots for SD, SDHC, MMC, CF, xD, Memory Stick, and Memory Stick Pro Duo cards. A power adapter is included, but unfortunately, like the Dash, the Infocast has no internal, rechargeable battery. So you're likely to park the Infocast on your nightstand and leave it there. These devices would be so much more interesting if you could, say, move them all around the house, or even outside, without having to be tethered to a power source.
